Elder Karen Piggott serves under the leadership of Bishop William M. Dawson and Executive Pastor Beverly A. Turman-Dawson at Mount Gilead church in Williamsburg VA. She was ordained and consecrated as an Elder of Intercessory Prayer and confirmed as a Shamar Prophet by Bishop Dawson. Elder Piggott serves as the Chief intercessor for the church and WMD Ministries. Under the direction of Bishop Dawson, she serves on an apostolic team and teaches Prayer and Spiritual Warfare. 

She received her call into the Gospel ministry in 2003 and was licensed in September 2005, at Macedonia Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor John Wilson. During her tenure, at Macedonia she served as the lead for the Intercessory Prayer Ministry, birthed an Empowerment of Love Conference, orchestrated a strategic plan for its first youth conference and served on the Teaching Ministry. Elder Piggott attended The School of Prophets at New Generation Ministries under the leadership of Apostle D.S. Mundel and Pastor Kimberly Mundel. While attending the school she was a chairperson for Women of Distinction Ministry. She is a former member and officer of The Unity Ministers Baptist Conference. She is the former National Spiritual Advisor for LOX a Christian sorority.

Elder Piggott is the founder of 3-D Ministries. The vision of 3-D Ministries is to minister and serve a healing message of destiny, determination, and deliverance to all women spiritually and naturally.  Their mission is to fulfill their vision by empowering, developing and outreaching locally, nationally and universally through both affiliations and interactions. There are 8 ministry members and 15 mentees serving under her leadership.

She is a native of Hampton, Virginia. She received her childhood education in the public schools of Hampton and Newport News, Virginia. She is a graduate of Phoebus High School and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, and a student at Ames Bible College studying Biblical Studies. She works as a Program Specialist for the Division of Child Support. Elder Piggott has been married to Thomas Piggott 19 years and they have two children, a son Dominique 18 and a daughter Joy 14.

Elder Karen Piggott’s main goal is to be in the will of God. Her mission is to preach and teach under the anointing that draws people into the Kingdom of God.  Her desire is to impart the anointing that removes burdens and destroys yokes into others that they may be transformed into the likeness of God’s dear son, Jesus. She believes that “God always wants to hear from His people so whatever life or circumstances offers you pray first, pray second, and lastly pray. God desires to build a relationship with us all, so pray!”
