Rev. Hudson is a worshiper, intercessor, and teacher of the Word. She has taught classes on prayer, intercession, and spiritual warfare. She has traveled to several states preaching and teaching the Word of God, under the unction of the Holy Spirit, where all are invited to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior and live an abundant life. She operates boldly in the power and authority of the Lord. She preaches and teaches under the leading of the Holy Spirit. Her spiritual foundation is based on the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Her preaching is both practical and biblically sound in doctrine. Her desire is to lead lost souls to the cross where they can make the decision about where they want to spend eternity. Since being a Resident Chaplain at Riverside Medical Center, she has completed specialized training on grief, bereavement, and mourning to better serve others in times of crisis. The gift of laying on hands and the manifestation of healing takes place on a daily basis in her ministry.    

 

Rev Hudson is a former member of New Mt Olive Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia, where she served for over 17 years under the leadership of Dr. W. Randolph Rylander. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 1993 and later became the first licensed and ordained female clergy in New Mt. Olive Church history. Currently, Rev. Hudson is a member of Calvary Revival Church Peninsula in Newport News, under the leadership of Pastor Ray and Nakia Johnson. Rev. Hudson is an active member of the women ministry, homeless ministry and the ministerial leadership team.

 

Rev. Hudson graduated from Regent University in May 2009, earning a Master of Divinity Degree. She was selected to enter the Chaplain summer intern program at Riverside Hospital, May 26, and graduated in August 2009. Next, she was selected as a Resident Chaplain at Riverside Regional Hospital in September 2009, where she served faithfully until August 2010. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Education and Health from Mississippi Valley State University in 1989. Rev. Hudson is a former Physical Education and Health Teacher for Hampton City Schools. Currently, Rev. Hudson is employed with Personal Touch Home Health, Inc. and Riverside Rehabilitation Institute as a Chaplain.

 

Rev. Hudson is married to retired Navy officer Charles E. Hudson. They have two daughters, a son-in-law and two beautiful granddaughters, Gabrielle and Makayla.
